November, 2006, Eclectica Studios Moves to Austin TX . We re-opened Jan. 2, 2006
March 2006, As our studio grows in reputation for it's outstanding sounding live room, we have upgraded our Live room's room mics, to now offer full range and dynamics offered by large diaphragm condenser mics. They sound outstanding and are a real improvement over the Choir mic set-up we had used up till now.

Our Studio A has the new Seraphim Analog Summing System!!!
January 2005, We installed our new analog summing system, the Seraphim Analog Summing system. We had to completely re-do our console set-up and add another rack. It looks cool, and more importantly, sounds fantastic! We have posted a comparison here on our site. People who have heard it have been floored by the sound.

March 2005, We just installed a new air conditioning/heating system here at Eclectica. The new 2 ton unit was installed by AirMed and sits on the roof over the unit next door (we lease that unit too and sublease it out to an internet bookseller) for a noise free operation. The new unit is much more powerful than the old one and runs silent. Its Very Cool. Sorry for the pun.

June 13, 2005, Eclectica Studios started our first audio recording course.
*Next course starts in November*
"Tim has taught audio courses for many years to different churches throughout S.California. He also severed for many years as a sound system specialist for many top equipment manufactures and taught many product seminars for these companies."
"After having numerous inquiries for some type of teaching or interning in the field of recording and mixing, we have decided to hold a course that covers all aspects of audio recording."

July 22, 2005 - FLOOD!!!!
Friday night at 10pm we got a call from the tenant next
door that a pipe broke and flooded out their unit and there is water coming out
the front door of Eclectica studios!!!
